CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

One of the main requirements for the success of the Renovation Cooperative is the continuous technical and financial commitment for the proper maintenance and renovation of this extensive asset, in order to adapt it to today’s living needs together with the planning of new construction projects.

OBJECTIVES

In order to expand its offerings and the need to maintain a high level of attention to costs in the purchase and renovation of historic buildings in Bologna, Cooperativa Risanamento is committed to precise and accurate economic and financial management that allows investments in the medium and long term. It has steadilyly increased its real estate portfolio, which consists of 2,223 apartments, of which 2,191 are located in the city of Bologna and 32 in the municipality of Casalecchio di Reno, in addition to a hundred or so commercial premises all located in Bologna.

The need to manage increasing complexity, both in functional terms and to cover increasingly structured organizational processes, has carried us through the years and today confirms the willingness to turn to partners who are not only prepared but also willing and proactive. This is why both SAP and GPA represent valuable support so that we do not ignore our high expectations, which are certainly not trivial, but thus enables us to maintain, and at times broaden, our focus on business processes, both new and established.

 

KEY POINTS AND IMPLEMENTATION

The operational continuity of the SAP systems now represent the standard tool in the management of the business processes at Cooperativa Risanamento, requiring an in-depth preventive investigation of the resources that the SAP ecosystem makes available to its customers. One of the primary goals of the project was the breakaway from the hardware devices, indispensable for daily productivity, in order to eliminate the most frequent cause of operational inefficiency (customer service personnel).

Having eliminated the critical points inherent in the integration with disparate equipment and systems we can now count on concrete control of operational processes, preventing (and not chasing) potential problems drastically impacting our work, thus ensuring a continuous, reliable and efficient service to our customers.
