CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

In order to expand its offerings, CSP International has made several acquisitions in the past decade: in 1999 it acquired the Le Bourget Group, which is the third leading company in the tights and stockings market in France. In the year 2000 it acquired the company Lepel, with a well-established position in the corsetry market, with a particular specialization for bras, among which the famous Belseno stands out, proceeding in 2008 with the acquisition of the Liberti brand, specializing in corsetry, lingerie and high-end swimwear. In recent history (2010) is the acquisition of the French Group WELL, which holds 20% of the hosiery market share in France. An extensive yet sophisticated consumer profile is CSP International’s guidelines.

OBIETTIVI

With innovation and dynamism, the company combines the needs of consumer goods and fashion trends, through a diverse range of brands and collections. The CSP International group’s mission is to produce and distribute the best quality products worldwide by innovation in the core business of hosiery and diversifying into underwear and swimwear.

WHY SAP and GPA

The need to manage increasing complexity, both in functional terms and to cover increasingly structured organizational processes, has carried us through the years and today confirms the willingness to turn to partners who are not only prepared but also willing and proactive. This is why both SAP and GPA represent valuable support so that we do not ignore our high expectations, which are certainly not trivial, but thus enables us to maintain, and at times broaden, our focus on business processes, both new and established.

KEY POINTS AND IMPLEMENTATION

The goal of adopting fast and easily manageable business analytics and corporate performance management tools is the priority for us in the first half of 2013.
Proceeding with the adoption of these tools resulted, however, in the updating of the SAP information system.

BENEFITS

Managing the growth and adaptation of the information system with the use of “corporate” tools has allowed us to quickly process requests from the business with total control of management costs. The need to respect the stringent timelines imposed by the market in which CSP International operates is still preserved today by the choice of tools integrated with SAP ERP, the core of our automation.
